Step By Step Guide In Setting Up A 2wire Wireless Network

Here are the steps to follow for 2Wire Wireless network setup in Windows XP.

• Make sure that the 2Wire Wireless USB Adapter is not plugged in to your computer or laptop. If it is then remove it before proceeding further.

• Download the driver file or if you have the disk then insert it now.

• Double click on the driver file in order to extract all the files in it. Make note of the folder into which the files will be extracted. If the file permits you then try creating your own temporary folder.

• Now connect the 2Wire Wireless adapter to any of the free USB ports on your computer or laptop.

• Windows XP will notify you about "New Hardware Found" and driver dialog box will come up. You should choose the option titled "Install from a specific location."

• Click "Next".

• Click on the checkbox that says "Include this location in the search" and key in the folder name with complete path that you note down in the 3rd step.

• Click "Next".

• Just follow the instruction windows as they keep appearing and click "Next" or "Ok" to till the installation is complete.
